Responsible for performing work related to the installation, operation maintenance and repair of centrifugal and turbine pumps and controls, including the operation and maintenance of a public utility water treatment facility or sewer pumping station facility.
Must possess a Mass. Certification Grade 3 (T-3) Operation Drinking Water Supply Facility License, as required by the Department of Environmental Protection Regulations.
A working knowledge of air compressors and mechanical drives.
Familiarity with basic functions and operation of purifying equipment.
Experience in the operation and maintenance of gasoline and diesel engines.
Must be able to climb up and down ladders to a depth of 25’ below street level.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Must be available for emergencies and snow removal.
Starting rate is $26.85 per hour. This is a full-time position, 40-hours per week.
Position available for the following shift:
Tuesday through Saturday 6:00am to 2:00pm
