Land Management Assistant

Burlington, MA
The Town of Burlington is seeking applicants for the position of Land Management Assistant.

Responsibilities include assisting the Conservation Administrator in managing Conservation land,
performing trail maintenance, conducting site inspections and other activities. The position involves interaction with residents and municipal officials, and requires strong verbal, writing, GPS, GIS and computer skills and the ability to work independently outdoors.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, natural resources, conservation or a related field, or be enrolled in a program leading to such a degree
  • Strong verbal, writing, GPS, GIS and computer skills
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

This a part-time, year-round position, averaging 10 hours per week, with flexible hours.  Pay is $22.51/hour.
