Minimum qualifications include
- Five years of administrative, procurement, purchasing, or related experience, preferably in municipal pr public-sector environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Proficiency with standard office software and electronic record-keeping systems
- Designation as a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO), or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of employment*

This is a union position within the Burlington Municipal Employees Association bargaining unit. Salary is within Grade 7, of the BMEA contract. Pay range starts at $31.61/hr. with opportunity to advance to a max rate of $45.16/hr via annual step increases. This is a full time position, 35 hours per week, and includes comprehensive & generous benefits.
