The Town of Burlington is seeking Stream Cleaners to perform a variety of manual stream cleaning and land management tasks, as well as a Stream Clean Supervisor to oversee a small stream cleaning crew. Requires an interest in natural resource issues and a willingness to work outdoors in most weather.
Conservation Stream Cleaner, Temporary Full Time, 35 Hours/Week The Conservation Department is seeking team members to perform manual stream cleaning (walking streams to remove debris and blockages), assist with trail maintenance projects, any carry out other land management tasks.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Wednesday: 8:30am - 7:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 1:00pm
Duration: June 8, 2026 - August 21, 2026 Rate of Pay: $16.31/hour
Conservation Stream Clean Supervisor, Temporary Full Time, 35 Hours/Week The Conservation Department is seeking a supervisor to oversee a small stream-cleaning crew and daily operations. Responsibilities includeplanning work schedule and access, purchasing supplies and equipment, and maintaining records of hours and activities.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Wednesday: 8:30am - 7:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 1:00pm
Duration: June 1, 2026 - August 28, 2026 Rate of Pay: $17.28/hour
