The Town of Burlington seeks qualified applicants to perform clinical and administrative work for Burlington Youth & Family Services (BYFS), a Town department responsible for providing mental health and social services to families with adolescents and young adults. BYFS also provides information and referral services for all residents regardless of age. Working under the direction of the Executive Director, the Social Worker provides family, individual, couple and group therapy for community adolescents and their families; conducts intake assessments; provides crisis intervention and information referral services; writes reports; supervises graduate interns; interfaces with Town and community agencies; as well as other related tasks.
Licensed Masters Level Clinician (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience, as well as experience in adolescent family, individual, couple and group therapy is required of the successful candidate. Supervisory experience required. Training in Systemic Family Therapy as well as trauma and/or substance abuse treatment a plus.
This position is full-time (35 hours per week) over a 4-day workweek to include two (2) evenings. Salary is competitive and dependent upon experience and qualifications and includes a comprehensive and generous benefits package. This position is included within the Administrative and Professional Classification Plan at Grade 10 with a starting rate of $56,683.
